 Volunteer OpportunitiesWe have many ways for you to be involved at Life Choices. We regularly hold intensive Volunteer Training Seminars for those who would like to be involved in face-to-face client contact. Look through the following to see what best suits your giftings! . To Download a brouchure with a registration form, Click Here .Counselors Administer pregnancy tests, counsel, educate, support, and share Christ with clients as they visit the office. Counselors work to develop an on-going relationship with clients by following up with continuous support. Receptionists/Administrative Hospitality is a must for this position as they greet and care for clients. Phone work and miscellaneous clerical duties, keep them busy during their weekly shifts. General office work includes help with making copies, filing, collation, data entry, etc. Clothing Room Workers/Sorters Help with practical needs as you serve the client personally or sort through our donations. Donors continually give us good used clothing and furniture that we then give to the clients. Volunteers wrap gifts for our clients, including mom’s gifts and baby shower layettes. Teen Advisor Program - Youth Mentors/Real Life Presenters As a mentor with the Teen Advisor program, impacting high school students with the abstinence message, you could a lead a Bible study, meet one-on-one with students, and cultivate relationships. There are also opportunities to present the abstinence message to students through classroom presentations. Fundraising Events Help staff committees and events that raise financial support. All year long there are events that require committee work as well as hands-on participation. Prayer Intercessors This is one of the most important opportunities available at Life Choices. We believe in the power of prayer and depend on it completely. Weekly prayer groups meet at the Center or you can do this from your own home or at work by letting us contact you through e-mail for the most urgent needs Church Ambassadors Help keep your church informed about upcoming events and needs for Life Choices Pregnancy Center. You will be a liaison to your church, raising awareness of Life Choices as well as developing friend-raising ideas. Facilities Maintenance Yard Maintenance - Join in and help keep the outside of Life Choices looking great and inviting. Housekeeping - Includes general housekeeping such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning toilet and sinks. Equipment Engineers – Checking out the used baby equipment to ensure that it is safe to give to our clients. This could also include handy man opportunities. Ultrasound Impact the lives of the unborn by providing their parents with a picture of their baby.
