Meet the Life Choices Staff

Executive Director - Rick Thielen

Center Director, Longmont - Connie E. Schlepp–Weiskopf came on staff as Longmont Center Director in July of 2007. She holds a B.A. in Art and Education form WSC in Gunnison, CO and had worked as a fine artist and graphic designer for the past 25 years. She also attended Rocky Mountain Bible Institute and has a love of studying HIS Word. Her fine art has been shown nationally and abroad and been represented in many solo and group exhibitions.  She has been represented in numerous competitions and Galleries including “The National, American, and Rocky Mountain Watercolor Societies”,  “American Women Artist” and “The Allied Artists of America”. Her work has been displayed in Galleries in New York, Santa Fe, Houston, Denver, Vail, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and she’s included in “Who’s Who in the World” and “Who’s Who of American Women Artists.”  Connie has devoted her time to her husband David of 10 years, family, painting, fly fishing, golf, and fellowship with friends. Connie’s life experiences and Love of the Lord led her to Life Choices as a volunteer in 2006. She was then called to the position of Center Director.  She has a passion for God’s Word, getting to know Him more, and to share and introduce Him to others, seeing lives changed through His love, Grace and Power. Center Director, Loveland - Denise Copelin is the Director of Life Choices Pregnancy Center in Loveland, Colorado. She was born in Michigan and relocated to Colorado twenty years ago with her husband Stephen to be part of a church-planting ministry.  They have three children ages 18, 16, and l2.  As a family they enjoy camping, traveling and seeking out to any body of water that reminds them of Michigan.  They have had many pets though the years, however Denise's favorite is her Beagle Lacy,  who is very spoiled (her sleep number is 25).  Denise has an accounting degree, worked for 20 years in the medical field and has served in church administration and intercession ministries.  Denise has always had a great love and compassion for babies and believes that her life has been orchestrated by God to prepare her for this fulfilling role as a Life Choices center director. Center Director, North Metro - Kathy Buschman is currently the Center Director of Life Choices Pregnancy Center in Thornton, CO.  Kathy started with the position of Center Director in Longmont in January of 2002 and brought with her nearly 20 years of experience in working with unplanned pregnancies.  Kathy counts it a privilege to work in a ministry where every day, women have the opportunity to embrace the truth and healing power of God’s infinite grace and mercy. Kathy and her husband Bob have been married for 25 years. They reside in Dacono, CO. Together they have two adult children Bethany and Evan.  As a family they enjoy, music, old movies and a good joke. Healing Choices Coordinator - Lisa Koets has been affiliated with Life Choices Pregnancy Center since 1996. Lisa minored in psychology at the University of North Texas and is currently working on her masters to become a Certified Biblical Counselor. Lisa came to the center in 1996 as a client to attend a Bible study on post-abortion healing. After completing another Bible study on healing offered by Life Choices, she began volunteering. She started off as an options counselor, served many years on the banquet committee, and then finally found her calling in the post-abortion arena. She volunteered for several years in this area before becoming a part of the staff as the Healing Choices Coordinator in 2006. Lisa is happily married to Gary, and they have three beautiful children. Development Coordinator - Lola Bodley has been working at Life Choices since February 2008, as the Event Coordinator. She started volunteering with Life Choices when she was a senior in High School as a Teen Advisor. She recently received her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado Christian University. Lola is happily married, and has an adorable little boy. She enjoys playing with her son and dogs, as well as watching movies with her husband. One of her favorite Theologians is Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Lola and her husband are food connoisseurs; some of their favorite restaurants are Hibachi in Westminister, John’s in Boulder, and Los Cabos II in Denver. Bookkeeper - Tiffany Glenski has been working at Life Choices since June 2008. She is currently attending Front Range Community College where she is working on her Associates in Arts. Tiffany and her husband Jason have two beautiful little girls, Taylor and Samantha. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, scrapbooking and photography. Real Life Program Coordinator - Karen Kazor is one of the Teen Advisor (TA) and Program Coordinators for Life Choices. As a co-leader of the TA Program, the high school abstinence group, she leads monthly meetings on topics ranging from purity to relationships and love.  She also serves as an abstinence presenter in the St. Vrain Valley and Thompson school districts. Karen is originally from Nebraska where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in community health education. She enjoys hiking and traveling and of course Nebraska football. Real Life Program Coordinator - Erin Green is one of the Teen Advisor and Program Coordinators for Life Choices. She originally got involved with the center as an intern in college and came on staff shortly after graduating in 2004. She presents in the schools and leads the Teen Advisor program alongside Karen. She enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, warm weather and spending time with family. Her and her husband do not have any children, but have a house full of animals.
